Who We Are

Pas de Deux Photo provides education and community for photographers working in dance photography. Our mission to to support the work of dance photographers with an emphasis on community over competition. We know that dance photography is elevated by all of us lifting up one another.

Topics we explore include:  working with dancers, lighting techniques, performance photography, dance positions and terms, developing relationship with dance teams, studios, and companies, studio workflow and management, marketing and branding, volume processing, and safety considerations when working with minors.

What photographers have to say

"If you are a dance photographer you HAVE to be at this convention! So much to learn, so many photographers to network with and a perfect way to build your portfolio!"

"From the day I first contacted Beth with questions about the conference, I felt that I was welcome and that something about this conference was going to be different."

"Cannot recommend this conference enough. Whether you're an experienced professional, hobbyist, or anywhere in between, there's something for you here. Great variety of speakers and hands-on experiences. Overall 10/10 would go again."

"If you are in the dance photography world you can not afford to miss this conference. It is jammed packed with the industry's leaders in photography, gear, and knowledge."
